Here at Ribbon Dream Stables we believe that building a strong foundation of basic horse knowledge in our students is a critical part of becoming an accomplished rider. We start your training from the ground up, just as we do with a horse. You need to understand how a horse works and how the things you do affect your horse before you can ride successfully and happily for both rider and horse.
We offer instruction in a wide range of disciplines:
Western Pleasure, for show or trail riding
Hunter Pleasure, Hunter undersaddle-intro to over fences
English Pleasure - Saddle Seat - Park
Dressage - Entry/Training level
Equitation in all seats
Driving - Pleasure Driving - Carriage Driving
Barrels - intro to Reining, Cutting, and Pole Bending
Basic Training Foundation Knowledge
We offer training for you and for your horse.
Our lessons are given on our Morgan or Arabian horses.
Students can take their lesson horse to shows when their riding skills are ready. Showing is an option but definitely not a requirement, showing isn't for everyone.
If you want lessons on your own horse that is an option as well. If you have a horse in training you will get 1 lesson per week on your horse included with each week of paid training.
